We want the ability to combine cases and tasks into a single view/poblet to allow all the user’s work to be displayed in an single location so they can see all available/assigned work. We feel this would be particularly useful when trying to work these items FIFO and/or according to priority.
This is currently a level 4 issue (deemed cosmetic) and is awaiting review by the CAB. We were wondering if we were the only user group who felt that this would be useful functionality? If not, who else out there would like to see this feature implemented?
Actually, we have a similar RFC open. We would like to have Tasks and Activities together in one list. Reason: Our users don’t want to use the PCM module because they already have their overview full of poblets (Cases, Tasks, some of them use the Calendar – I am the only one with 5 poblets) and don’t want to have yet another list (Activities) to watch. Only we POB admins have an Activity poblet in the SDM overview, and we are the only ones really working with Activities (mainly QA processes).
Your idea is definitely something I would support. The greatest thing would be a kind of expand/collapse control on each Case line, allowing to see all sub Tasks of the case. The perfect thing would be a combination: Collapse/expand child Cases + collapse/expand Tasks below all of these cases…
