we have several interfaces to POB, one is internal intranet based webforms where users can create tickets. In the others, users can create and edit tickets e.g. the native windows native client.
I would like to restrict creation of all tickets for USERS to the Intranet webforms. They should only be able to edit tickets in the native windows client.
Administrators and some support groups should of course obviously have rights to create in both clients.
did you already try to take away “Create” rights on the Case table for normal users? The user behind the web portal (usually “EUDefaultUser”), as well as those specified groups, should have that right, indeed. That should be possible to solve through a security role.
