Successful Christmas Seminar

Wendia Norway’s Christmas Seminar was held on 26 November with approximately 45 people participating.

Torgeir Waterhouse from IKT-Norge gave an interesting presentation about the Internet Of Things (IOT), on how it already affects us all, and how it will affect us in the near future. Lillian Stuvik and Dag Haaland from customer, supplier and partner Hatteland then gave the audience valuable insight into how Hatteland create business using POB. Besides from being POB users themselves, Hatteland is also operating Wendia Norway and together with Wendia Norway they sell POB as a service (SaaS). Jon R. Johansen from Nasjonalt folkehelseinstitutt presented how they use POB to get control of the real costs of IT services. He held a live demo, where he demonstrated how service pricing is implemented.

Remote sessions were given by Wendia executives on the latest new functionality in POB G6 versions 1.6, 1.7 and 1.8, and general Wendia news. The participants could also hear about next year’s PUG conference and various news from Wendia Norway.

As usual, the social part of the event continued with Christmas dinner and entertainment. There were a lot of nice chats around the tables, POB friends exchanging experiences.

All in all a very successful day! Images from the seminar can be seen here.

The Slightly Different Heroes

The Slightly Different Heroes: Wendia Germany at Serview’s Best Management Practice Congress

Heroes don’t necessarily wear capes or use fancy gadgets. Often they are rather unspectacular at first sight – like many IT people. But every day they support their business, they provide professional service to customers and help out with clever solutions when they are needed. They are slightly different heroes and played the main part in SERVIEW’s Best Management Practice Congress 2015. As a long term partner of German ITSM training and consulting company SERVIEW, Wendia participated in their annual expert convention with a slightly different exhibition booth featuring Batman and Wendia Beer.
