In keeping with tradition, Wendia Norway held their popular Christmas Seminar on the last Thursday in November: An afternoon packed with interesting presentations and POB networking, followed by an evening of dinner and entertainment. Presentations from the event can be found under Scandinavian Theme Days.
Since late 2019 we have been hosting monthly webinars. Given the upcoming holiday season, we will only have one webinar between November and December and are welcoming you to join our next webinar that will be hosted on December 14th.
This webinar will look at past webinars and bring highlights of these to remind you of information that has been discussed and is available. The webinar will also give a brief glimpse of the future within our POB webinar series, which we expect to focus more on features and functions built within specific modules of POB and also focus on how POB can be utilized to assist in recent industry trends. Strengthening the POB network, supporting the exchange of experience and providing a broad range of information and valuable input to working with POB is the focus of next year’s conference for Scandinavian POB users. Invitations have been sent out for two great days with round-table sessions, user tips and expert presentations. The conference will be held at Losby Gods near Oslo on March 22-23, 2022. After two webinar sessions of answering user questions, the October webinar will focus on the agile enhancements that are released during the year. Kevin Goertzen and his team of consultants will show where to find the information on agile enhancements and also show some of the agile enhancements that have been released in the 1.10 and 2.0 versions of POB. POB has been greatly enhanced over the last few releases. The numerous new functions are described in the release notes, but hands-on training is still highly suggested to make the changes more comprehensible.
Wendia is therefore happy to invite European POB users to a 2-weeks virtual training in the end of June/beginning of July, where Wendia Denmark Senior POB Consultant Jesper Solholm during 10 sessions of 3 hours each, will take the participants through a broad variety of topics enabling them to better administer POB 2.0. The annual Scandinavian POB User Group conference was held in a virtual setting this year – and although most participants would have preferred to meet in person, the day went very well. The morning session had an interesting presentation by Herning municipality about using “Knowledge in the Self Service Portal” and an inspirational presentation by Wendia on “Automation using POB”. Both presentations can be found on the Scandinavian Conferences page.
The afternoon session featured Wendia/Serviceaide presentations on the way forward for Wendia after being acquired by Serviceaide, POB roadmap, virtual agents integrated to POB and the “POB G6 from A to Z” presentation by Kevin Goertzen, inspiring to make use of POB throughout the organization and for processes many may not have thought about formalizing. The Wendia/Serviceaide presentations will be uploaded to the Scandinavian Conferences page soon.

Invitations have been sent out for the 2021 Scandinavian POB User Group conference that will be held in a virtual setting on April 20th. The conference will be held as two Teams’ meetings: a morning session from 9-12 CET, and an afternoon session from 14-17 CET. Participation is free of charge. Read more about the sessions here.
