PUG Theme Day on CMDB

On Tuesday the 20th of May KMD hosted the spring theme day for Danish-speaking customers.

Coloplast and KMD gave interesting presentations about the importance of having an accurate CMDB, automating the population of it, and getting support for its use throughout the organization; including step-by-step guides to implementing CMDB’s. The presentations and the many questions from the participants led to some good discussions – and all participants could bring home inspiration for their future work with the CMDB.

Upcoming PUG Theme Day in Denmark

We look forward to seeing Danish-speaking POB users at the event that features presentations by Coloplast and KMD on their use of CMDBs.

POB User Group Conference D-A-CH

The members of the German POB User Group met for their annual conference in Baiersbronn from 27 – 28 March 2014. During the Wendia World Cafe Session, participants openly shared their thoughts about the future of ITSM and POB and their expectations towards the POB User Community. Please feel free to download a summary of the results that can be found under PUG Events.

Scandinavian PUG Conference in Norway

Another successful Scandinavian PUG Conference has just ended – thanks to all for their valuable contributions. It was inspiring to see Norwegian Statsbygg and Danish Alm. Brand present their two different Self Service Portal set ups and hear about their experience with setting them up. We also enjoyed hearing about Danish municipality Herning’s successful G6 migration and what benefits they see in the service desk when working with G6, and finally hearing about Danish ScanNet’s experience with implementing change management with POB G6.

The very entertaining presentation on how to successfully communicate and the later social event at Grana Bar, where we could try out our skills in outdoor activities like “mattressing” down an icy slope and throwing axes, brought us all closer together – and hopefully made future networking and POB-related cooperation much easier.

After 15 and 12 years respectively in the PUG board, Lykke Harrison, formerly CSC now Wendia, and Leon Johansen, Ringsted municipality, chose to leave the board and elected instead were Allan Eriksen, Vordingborg municipality, and Göran Wihlgaard, Atea Sweden. We also said goodbye to Ole Wendelbo, KMD, who will take retirement this summer. Ole has been a keen contributor to the PUG conferences in the past many years, as accountant and dedicated speaker at numerous conferences. Thanks to Lykke, Leon and Ole for their great contributions – and welcome to the new PUG board!
